Community Support

Typo Station

Typo Station is an independent, not-for-profit organisation operating an early intervention, alternate education, life skills and mentoring program for young men aged between 14 and 17 years who are experiencing problems at home, school or in their community.

Typo Station works with young men from throughout Victoria and bordering NSW who are beginning to engage in risk-taking activities that if left unaddressed, could result in destructive life outcomes such as early school leaving, unemployment, drug and alcohol dependency, homelessness, and in some tragic cases even suicide.

Typo Station works in partnership with schools, youth and family focused agencies, families, businesses, community groups, philanthropic organisations and individuals, to help adolescent boys to stay connected to education and employment pathways and to maintain constructive relationships with families, communities, and other critical support networks for more positive futures.

The Victoria Police Four Wheel Drive Club assists Typo Station by providing volunteer driver support to their hiking programs in the Victorian Alpine National Park and Wyperfeld National Park.
